Our Story

Growing up in New Zealand, we watched our parents come home from long shifts and take their shoes off like it was the best part of the day. Sore feet. Tired legs. Shoes that did the job, but never once felt good. They worked hard so we never went without. We just wished their feet got the same care they gave us.

That’s why we started Dr. Arch’s.

We believe workers and everyday people deserve footwear that supports them, without looking like it. Every pair carries physio-designed arch support built into the footbed, so you’re comfortable and aligned all day. Nothing clinical. Just shoes you’ll choose to wear on shift, or walking your dog.

We are a New Zealand owned brand, built for Australia and New Zealand, but due to the specialised nature of our footwear, and the lack of manufacturers here able to build to our standard, we partner with a factory in China to produce it. Fair pay, normal hours and proper HR practices are non-negotiable for us, and we hold our factory to that standard. We speak with them regularly, and we’re always looking at ways to bring production closer to home, though finding a manufacturer who can build arch support to our level takes time.
